We had a bit of an issue with parking as we had a pick-up truck. Apparently, they don't like to park vehicles that big. After some discussion the issue was resolved, and they ended up parking it for us. Our room was fantastic, we had a little kitchen that had an oven, fridge, microwave, coffee pots, toaster and all the dishes and pots you needed. We saved a lot of money by utilizing the kitchen! Our room was clean and well appointed, the beds were comfortable. The location was convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cantlie is clean, comfortable, and has a nice touch of luxury. The location is very good as we often hit the Musée des Beaux Artes. Downsides: our heater was fairly loud when it turned on. Also in the morning we had to retrieve our car from the basement.. Valet parking means the car is brought to you outside. For $35 and at 11 in the morning you would think a valet parking staff member would have been available to bring up the car. I don't feel we got our money's worth for the parking.

Did not get full value for the valet parking. There was no one available to bring us our car and we had to go down into the garage, suitcase and all. Sofitel across the street falls all over themselves to bring your car up to the street. I would advise Cantlie to go over and see how they do it.

Charged for parking when rate said it was included. Staff kept deferring my concern and it was not addressed.

Everything was fantastic - we Had our two granddaughters with us and the room was great -the fridge and microwave made it easier. The only disappointment was at the restaurant. We dined on Friday night and the girls who are 5 and 9 each couldn't eat their dinner -the mac & cheese was spicy. Who cooks spicy mac and cheese for a 9 year old plus the macaroni wasn't cooked. The pizza was supposed to be a cheese pizza but alas where was the cheese.
Other Comments
Very friendly front desk staff - and very helpful in getting our luggage to the room.
