Room was up in eaves up 6 flights of stairs. Window didn’t open fully because of brick wall blocking view. Room was dirty and damp patch on the ceiling. Room was unacceptable and we asked for a refund, hotel refused and were not able to offer an alternative room. We decided for our own health not to stay there. After an hour trying to negotiate a refund and not getting anywhere, we decided to leave and found alternative accommodation at our own cost.

Maryam & Rabia, receptionists were equally friendly, helpful & interested in providing a great customer experience. I was kindly allocated a quiet room (22), I loved the Victorian stand alone mirror, the toiletires, the ginger body lotion & the nicely scented conditioner. Liked that I could use the stand alone heater if I needed it, as it happened I didn't need it. I prefer cool bedrooms, sleep better

Room was rather dated with furniture that was basically not fit for purpose. Drawers that were too small to take clothes. Bed was most uncomfortable. These observations were passed onto the reception staff during our stay. The limited view from the windows was spoilt by a scruffy courtyard that could have been tidied up.

We liked the bath, excellent for a soak after busy days walking all around London. Location was excellent as very close to both Tube and buses.

Description claims refurbished but rooms were very poor and bathrooms even worse . It was as if they had paid a short sighted teenager to throw a lick of paint everywhere’. Bed was ok but furniture appalling really. Such a disappointment/
