Other Comments
The DJ playing music by the pool late Sunday afternoon does NOT help people to relax. The constant thumping of the bass could not only be heard, it COULD BE FELT. Not good. Having a map of the Tommie and the Thompson would have helped if I could see the layout instead of being told about it. Prepare for the next festival NOW. Having to navigate Austin's closed off streets during the festival in an attempt to find your entrance/valet-parking was next to impossible. You need to place a sign and traffic cones at the alley on Brazos Street directing cars down the alley to your front entrance.

Charged full price of $55 for valet parking when $20 per day was offered in the deal.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and in a great location. We stayed on the Tommie side which is hip, young with very small rooms. The staff was exceptionally nice and truly seemed to enjoy their guests.
