I bought three rooms for a girls’ trip and it just happened to fall on the blue Angels air show weekend. The place was packed, great vibe, lots of fun people, we definitely lucked out on the price with a promotion through Travelzoo. I don’t think we will ever see those prices ever again, but we had a fabulous weekend. Only thing I would change, would it be have a better selection of wine by the glass in their restaurant, Riviera, that is more recognizable to a broader range of people. Not just Italian wine.

Hotel Maren has a great location on A1A just south of Las Olas. We enjoyed the pool, the beach, the fitness center and especially the yoga classes (the instructors were excellent).

Only drawback was having to get across AIA to get to the beach.
We Ubered to the hotel from FLL airport and Ubered to go to downtown Las Olas. Worked out great and avoided the high price charged for parking car at hotel

Staff was very friendly courteous and helpful. Rooms were clean updated and roomy. Loved the Little extra amenities like bike rentals, Beach chairs, daily free drink x2 and yoga. Loved being right cross the street from the beach which was beautiful. Plenty of food choices that are walking distance or just take an Uber to las olas blvd ie the hotel food was great, coconuts, Bos beach for lunch and Uber to Louie Bossi and try red roof on Saturday for a more sophisticated lounge type atmosphere .

This a lovely, newly renovated property. Rooms are quite spacious with ample drawers for clothes. Pool area is pleasant and spacious. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Rooms have balconies with chairs and a table. Highly recommend.

Stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The hotel is in the perfect location right across from the beach. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Rooms are large and well apportioned. We will definitely book this hotel again for all future trips to the area.

The Travelzoo package for this hotel was definitely worth it. (Not sure I would pay the price point from Hilton directly.) The hotel location was great and room servicing was daily and appreciated. While the pool was closed on one of the days of my trip due to a compliance issue, I was happy the resort fee was eliminated for that day as I requested. (Communication by the staff about the pool situation needs improvement; no one proactively went around the pool deck communicating with updates; nor did they apologize for the inconvenience. I felt they missed an opportunity to communicate openly and frequently to the guests on the pool deck that day.)

I would like to provide feedback on the drink prices and sizing. While purchasing drinks at the pool bar over my trip, the price charged on selected drinks was not the same price stated on the menu. Also, the size of the cup varied (read; smaller) for the same drink over the course of my stay. I would like to see the pricing corrected and the sizing consistent.

Better selection of breakfast food at a more reasonable price. Should to find a way to monitor the use of the pool deck chairs. People were taking the chair for the entire day and not even using them. Just pacing items on the chair then going off for the day. Basically means only about 20 people got to enjoy use of the pool.

The hotel was amazing! We were upgraded from an ocean view balcony room to an ocean front balcony room and it was incredible although I don't think there is a bad view in any room as some face the marina and get a glorious sunset! We arrived around 10AM and we were able to use hotel amenities until our room was ready (even though check in time is 4:00). We had a late flight out and were able to use the amenities after we checked out as well. The staff was beyond hospital. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The hotel's location couldn't be beat - beach front and walking distance to so many great restaurants. Loved being at the pool as it faces the beach and all you see is the ocean as it's on the fifth floor. The perks for the resort fee more than made it worth it (although we rec'd a $30 daily credit towards that) - beach chairs, bikes for 2 hours daily, wifi, and 2 resort drinks daily. Hope y'all run another promo with them .... we'd buy it in a heartbeat!

I mentioned above but it's worth mentioning again that I don't think there is a bad view from any room at Hotel Maren. Of course ocean front is amazing but ocean view didn't seem half bad and the marina view gets the incredible sunsets.

No way to warm up food you bought on strip. Not enough lounge chairs to accommodate the number of guest that wants to lounge by the pool. It's first don't first serve... Which really means I put my towel there early morning and I'm able to go eat on the strip but because my towel is there you can touch my chair.

Stayed at Hotel Maren to celebrate my birthday. It was an awesome experience. Utilized the bikes as well as the beautiful pool overlooking the ocean. Couldn’t ask for a better location on Ft. Lauderdale beach. Our room had the marina view which has the most beautiful sunset view. Staff was great and attentive. My only complaint is the food options in the hotel are very limited. However, there are lots of options on the strip. Would definitely return to Hotel Maren!!

Although the location is in a busy area, I did like our view from the room. It was an ocean side view which allowed a bay view of the boats on the other side. Construction was going on behind the building which was not favorable for relaxing. I had an unfortunate occurrence when running my credit card as well, I'm sure it's not a common occurrence but their credit card machine charged the pending amount of $2,000 but it did not show up that it went through on their "system". So meanwhile I have $2,000 of unavailable credit on my card until it "falls off" in 10 days. Staff was great but would recommend adding staff to the pool bar.

Loved the hotel, the area and the beach. Pros: Fantastic location, close to so many great restaurants. Beautiful large room, most with beautiful views. Lovely pool area with great bartender and food to order. Hotel front patio overlooking the beach is fabulous and we sat out there quite a bit. The guy who handles your chairs and umbrellas and towels on the beach is wonderful with a delightful sense of humor. Felt COVID safe everywhere in the hotel.
CONS: The service, which was highly touted in reviews, was not present during our visit. I called ahead to confirm and was told we had a marina view with balcony and when we checked in we were told no balcony. We were very disappointed but since we were able to get into our room upon arrival we accepted it. More disappointment when we saw the half parking lot view and roof view from our room. We told Cindee it was our 37th wedding anniversary upon check in. When I went down to the desk at lunch time to ask her for two wine glasses so we could enjoy the special bottle of wine we brought to mark the occasion, she told me we would have to wait until 4pm to get a wine glass????? I was horrified. Then she said I could go to the 5th floor pool bar and see if they had glasses there. Turns out the pool bar only has plastic cups. Went back down to the front desk again and asked why we couldn't have a couple of wine glasses from the bar RIGHT THERE IN THE LOBBY?? She said the restaurant is not part of the hotel but I could go look in the restaurant to see if anyone was around to help me. I should have just gone behind the bar and grabbed two wine glasses myself but I didn't want to be rude. Luckily, the chef walked out of the restaurant and was more than happy to give me two glasses. We also had problems with housekeeping: We were told at check in there is daily room cleaning but we had to call everyday by 4 or 5 pm to have our room cleaned and when the housekeepers would come they would say our room was not on their list that day. Every day. Because we were out of tissues, we put the empty tissue box from the bathroom out in the sleeping area so housekeeping would notice it was empty and refill it but both days they put the EMPTY tissue box back in the bathroom. We ran out of toilet paper and had to call for that too.
Just don't understand these needless problems that were so easy to take care of. Didn't leave a great impression on us.

It’s difficult to cross the street to get to the beach. I hope the will install a cross walk. The chair snd towels at the beach are included in the resort fee but not the umbrellas. I was told I could but the charge on my room but the beach attendant was told it had to be paid in cash. I didn’t bring cash to the beach.... I’m sure most people don’t. Other than that the hotel was wonderful....

Booked an ocean view but only got a partial ocean view.
The hotel was newly renovated and very clean with beautiful decor, very tastefully done.
The location was perfect, right on the beach and next to restaurants, the hotel fee also included beach chairs, bikes and drinks so it made that fee worth it. Unfortunately, the valet was $46 dollar for overnight parking and there is no other location to park your car.

Highly recommended for a family or couple! Staff was friendly, helpful and on top of every detail! Beautiful hotel with an excellent location. Steps away from the beach where you are offered chairs, an umbrella and water. The beach is quiet and not overly crowded. The rooms (we had a king with a partial view of the ocean) are spacious and super clean. The décor throughout the hotel is stunning! The pool area is wonderful with the backdrop of the ocean. The food and drinks at the pool are nice for breakfast or a light lunch. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We used the gym, which has Peloton Bikes and lots of new equipment. Yoga is offered every day. I was able to join a class one morning with Suzanne who was a wonderful instructor. We loved everything about the hotel and will definitely be back!

Great hotel! The hotel is brand new and very well done. The hotel was perfect for our girls' trip - rooms were spacious, showers fantastic and beds comfortable. There were a lot of amenities that came with the resort fee - free cocktails, morning yoga, bikes, a wonderful pool, and beach chairs /towels. The hotel restaurant was fantastic as well. Great place to dine beachfront and people watch. The service at the hotel was A+ - all of the staff was so friendly and eager to engage and be helpful. Perfect location on a quiet beachfront block - and within a couple of blocks from all the excitement of Fort Lauderdale, shopping, and restaurants. The water taxi is only a block away as well. We felt very lucky to have found the Hotel Maren and had a great week staying there!

Everything was clean and all employees were very friendly and helpful. It's positioned right across a nice beach and it's extremely convenient to get a chair and a towel We used the free bike rentals every day and enjoyed it.

We were upgraded to a oceanview suite and it was beautiful clean and comfortable. I loved the location because it was walking distance to everything but was a few blocks down from the main area where the spring break kids mostly were. The beach is across the street from the front door where lounge chairs were provided for us. The marina was right behind us for water activities. The staff were extremely attentive and courteous.
