This was probably the best deal during the entire trip. For the price, we got a really nice and cozy room with a fireplace and everything very clean, the receptionist was super nice and joyful, the breakfast was ok considering it was a take and go (because of the pandemic), but we were able to enjoy the dinner coupon at the Iron Goat restaurant which was fantastic. It's a place I'd recommend.

Covid19 closed the pools, hot tub and gym facilities. The hotel and hand sanitizers by the elevators and front lobby.. The box breakfast was good for what they could do. ( 2 sausages, egg omelette, and one piece of toast, they you can get coffee, tea, juice box, yogurt, hot chocolate)

We switched rooms several times until we ended up in a King suite. Not the hotel's fault - we just expected a larger room.
We had issues with hot water for showers in our suite but Jamie gave us the keys to the room next door so we could shower in there. We really appreciated his efforts!

Great value. The staff was very pleasant and we really enjoyed our stay. They served a hot take away breakfast in the morning. It could have been a bit hotter but at least it wasn't just toast! The rooms were really nice. It seemed cleaning protocols were being followed but our room had some leftovers on the floor like a piece of a can and some bits of tissue paper in the bathroom on the floor and some crumbs around the beds. Otherwise it was very clean. The pool area was very clean and they booked 1 hour slots to enjoy it at a distance from others. Would definitely stay here again!

Some of the friendliest staff I've ever met at a hotel. Rooms were nice, mostly clean, location is close to highway, but wish it was a little closer to downtown.
Breakfast is highly processed foods, but at least its a hot breakfast.
Overall, I would stay again, but would probably check out other properties around too.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Pocaterra Inn this past weekend. The room was very nice, clean and quiet, which I had requested . We were on the 4th floor which we loved as the mountain views were spectacular. The 1st and 2nd floors had families, with several children running the hallways and using the elevators for games. I personally never let our kids run crazy in a hitel, but some parents don't care. We were glad to be away from this. The pool was on a reservation basis for small cohorts, but was booked solid with family cohorts of more than 20. Not sure why such large groups were allowed but I guess it gave opportunity for others to book. I was surprised that there was no housekeeping due to Covid but I haven't been in a hotel room since March. Our stay was so nice and we loved our room so much that we booked for January.

Moisture spots (glasses) and dust on one of the night stands, no coffee maker, clock still on DST, metal hose shower dirty, loose shower handle, 5 minutes to get hot water, a shower curtain that had seen better days/years, French toast at breakfast hard as a brick. We have stayed here many times before when it was still part of the Best Western family, but now this facility needs better quality control for housekeeping and maintenance.

The Pocaterra was honestly better than some of the fancier hotels I've stayed at in Canmore. The service was EXCELLENT, front desk staff was super friendly! The two changes I would make:
- The pool was LOUD with screaming children both times that we went. It would've been nice if there was an "adult hour" to enjoy the hot tub in peace.
- The boxed breakfast came with a egg and ham burrito, but the vegetarian alternative was a yogurt and fruit cup. Ideally, the vegetarian option could just be an egg and veggie burrito? Vegetarians like burritos too :)
Otherwise though, it was great and I will definitely be returning in the future! Shoutout to the fireplace in the room.

Rooms are spacious and very clean and enjoy having a gas fireplace in the room. Continental breakfast is included and due to COVID they hand out a boxed breakfast which included a breakfast burrito, yogurt, muffin and juice. All staff we encountered were super nice!

Good implementation of covid procedures throughout however, pool area should be limited to 1 cohort at a time. 20 people capacity is unreasonable considering aerosol spread, warm air, tendency for people to talk loudly/scream in area.

The bottle of wine that was part of the package was def not a $25 bottle. More like $7.99. The hot tub and pool area was supposed to be booked by one group hourly but was crazy. The hotel staff said they had no control over what was going on in that area so that made our hot tub experience not very nice. Other than that the room and staff were excellent.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very comfortable and it was nice having a fireplace. We did ask at check in if the rooms had a Keurig coffee makers. But we were told they had been taken out of the rooms because of Covid. But we were not told we could request one to be delivered to the room. We only realized that the next day when we saw them being dropped off at other rooms.
If we did stay again we would ask for a top floor as this is a family geared Hotel. There was a lot of noise from above us with a little one runing back wards and forwards.
