Of course with Covid many things are "different" so experience bound to be different. Our room was not the best. Considering so many empty rooms an upgrade would have been a great way to promote future visits or referrals to friends who prefer their accommodations close to shops etc.

Staff were excellent and friendly. All good in that regard.

This hotel is in a great location for walking into downtown tofino. It is not on a nice beach like some of the other fancy hotels, but the price reflects that. It was great value and I would stay here again!

Only stayed one night - but place was clean and looked modern. We were on the 2nd floor so had a decent view over the harbour.
Other Comments
The person above us was quite loud walking around in the evening - so if you need a really quiet room perhaps ask for the top floor. My wife mentioned she'd ask for a room change if we were staying another night.

The rooms are a bit shabby. Even though recently renovated, dirty carpet, chipped furniture. Sheets were older and pilly. I have stayed at 4 Travel Zoo Tofino/Ucluelet stays and this was the least impressive. Cox Bay being the best, then Terrace Beach and Water's Edge.

the front desk staff were excellent in helping us, especially Florentcia and Veronique. The bicycles did not turn out as expected . The room upgrade was great due to the tv not working. I would return for another stay
Other Comments
The girls at the front desk were great at ironing out issues. I have a suggestion for the off season . If the hotel is empty, you should be upgraded, and with that kind of experience people will definitely return. Our original room had a view of a cement wall. I am thankful the tv was not repairable
