They had a lot of indoor activities. The pool is nice. Very clean. ( I was surprised though when I had to pay at the hotel I thought I had paid the booking through travelzoo where I had the 20 percent discount. However when I paid at the hotel I did not get that discount.

We enjoyed talking with Scott as he served us breakfast both mornings. He was very personal, and friendly and made us feel very comfortable. A great way to start our day !! Thanks Scott!!! We had a difficult time with the Wifi as it kept cutting out and was frustrating.

The buffet breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the atmosphere and a great location to escape from the busyness of life. I was pleased they offered wheelchair accessible cabins and the grounds were fairly wheelchair friendly.

We found the rooms to be out dated but, they were cozy and comfortable. The prices on the general menu for their restaurant were a bit pricey. I found October to be their off season and found there was not many activities to take part in.

View, access, ( no charge) to lots of games pool, ping pong, bikes, kayak etc

Was very quiet, other than a train going thru, at different times of the day. Just a few spider webs in our room, but, that's cottage living.

I had requested a wheelchair accessible room. When we arrived the woman on the desk said it had been "given away" and we had been reassigned to a 3rd floor room (no elevator)! It is beyond me when you make this request that you would be put on the 3rd floor! After some waiting while she checked the computer for availability (the resort was not full) we were given a choice between 7-8 steps up or 4-5 steps up. Nothing else was offered. This meant that my husband had to carry me up and down each time we left our room, and then do the same with the wheelchair. I can't begin to say how disappointing this was. Also the recreation facilities (pool) were downstairs. Another couple, wife has mobility issues had asked us to tell them how we found it and we had to discourage them from going. Doing a walk around the resort later we saw 11 cottages with ramps for access but these had not been offered.
