We reserved a premier queen room but we were given a city queen room which was a downgrade from what was booked. The room was very small and the bed very hard.

The rooms are very small and modest but very clean. Prices are reasonable compared to other hotels downtown.

Construction, loud AC, loud hallways, uncomfortable beds. They also had the wrong rate for my stay initially and if I hadn't checked I would have had to pay more.

The price. Toronto is SO expensive now, it makes it hard to visit.

The lobby was a bit bare bones but who really cares. The room was quiet, clean and provided everything that we needed. And, the hotel was very busy.

This review will look familiar since I have already submitted the identical review. I had reserved 2 rooms at this hotel with 2 separate reservations. We were kept up literally all night due to street construction right outside our room. Apparently a special permit had been issued to allow construction to take place throughout the night!! We talked to people on higher floors and the opposite side of the hotel who were spared from the construction noise! Having a lengthy drive the next day was difficult with only minimal sleep. I realize this wasn't entirely the hotel's fault but they should have foreseen this issue and given us a higher floor and away from the all night noise. When I called the front desk at 1 am all they told me was to talk to the Front Desk Manager in the morning. We did this, but because we had booked through TravelZoo, he said he could not refund or reduce our cost of the hotel room(s).
