We had to mention two maitenance issues but as I gave photos to the front desk I am assuming they will be dealt with. One was cables from the TV etc over the heater (potential fire hazard) and hair in the plug of the bathtub.

The check in staff was so helpful, friendly and always had smiles. The room was waterfront as advertised, very clean, had all the amenities needed and was pretty quiet. The beds were comfy. There was a communal kitchen that has absolutely everything.

Very comfortable, well equipped room. Bed was great! It was convenient to have a communal kitchen, but needed to be kept cleaner (eg fan over the stove is covered with grease and dirt).
Nice to have games available.

We booked for a Saturday and Sunday night which were great, but, being off-season meant that many shops and services in the area were closed. We will have to return at another time of year to enjoy those things too.

Easy check-in and lots of parking. Our room was in Building 3, furthest from the main office along covered walkways (essential in this climate!), but accessible from the parking lot. There are some stairs to contend with, so be aware if that is difficult for you. Our pet-friendly room was clean, had lots of towels, a Keurig coffee machine, tv, and bar size fridge (no freezer compartment). Beds were firm and comfortable. Having a view of the harbour was nice. There is a covered sitting area outside the room.
Because all walkways are wooden, you will hear people moving around. Some have commented about noise from other rooms, but we didn't notice any.
Overall, and with the price offered through Travelzoo, it was very good value and convenient for sightseeing.

Lovely location for town amenities and scenic balcony time. Friendly and accommodating staff. The only reason we give 4 and not 5 stars to room/value: noisy family next door on 3rd night, and the design of the lively lodgey rooms are such that the next door room's staircase to the loft bedroom are overhead the main floor beds of the neighbouring room. And not soundproofed. Thump thump thump for 5 hrs of excited little kids. We didn't complain as we didn't want to spoil their fun, but maybe just good info for others, and good to know for future bookings for us. We would stay again for sure!

Nice to see an older west coast building being restored and kept for big-beam-admirers to appreciate. Love the international crowd that the pretty amazing communal kitchen building draws!

Clean,comfortable, easy and friendly checkin, love the loft as we both had our space. Needed a small table on the balcony and a small table and chair in our room. Tv could be mounted on the wall for efficient space.

Joined friends for three nights in Ucluelet. Enjoyed an evening around a fire table overlooking the marina and used the communal kitchen to cook dinner. Great spot, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Our loft room had a fire place which made for great ambiance in the evenings. Would stay there again.

An excellent time at Canadian Princess! The staff was exceptional, especially the young woman at the front desk, so friendly and accommodating! Room was spotlessly clean; nice views of the harbour; fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker were welcome! All in all, very enjoyable!

Reservations and reception were terrific, friendly, helpful...we so appreciated that they accommodated an early check-in so we could attend an afternoon wedding. We highly recommend a stay at the Canadian Princess Lodge!

The stay was really nice and the location is very central within Ucluelet. The only down side was that they don't have pet friendly rooms with fireplaces. We were one of only a handful of people staying in the large hotel, so we were quite surprised there was not a pet friendly option with a fireplace.

I went with a girlfriend (two seniors). We had reserved a room with two queen beds. However, we got upgraded to a room with a loft so we had a king size bed in the loft and two queen beds downstairs. we could have slept six!

It was mixed up at frist has we had no PIN number so we could get our room
They gave it to us anyhow and the nice part was they gave us a bigger room and let us book in at 2 o’clock when it’s usally 4 o’clock and l have not heard but she must of got a PIN number so service was great

Spent 3 lovely nights here in November and hope to be back soon. Comfy beds, fireplace, soaker tub, and morning tea on the deck overlooking the water - what a great place for a getaway! The lodge wasn't very busy, so I can't speak to the noise transfer mentioned by others. This is a phenomenal deal & I snag it whenever I can! Highly recommend.

Thank you! We enjoyed our stay. Wish: there was more soundproofing as the next door guests had small children who ran up and down the stairs noisily and played underneath the stairs which were right against our bed. We couldn’t relax during the day. Not their fault though. Anyway, thanks for the stay.
