Breakfast at the adjoining restaurant the Lighthouse was the highlight

Lots of great things about this small hotel! We experienced truly fabulous customer service even before we checked in with text messaging requesting needed personal details the day before, an option to check in early for $10 if required & if available on check in day, a text message providing login code and WiFi password (which arrived before our 3pm check in time), as well as details about the hotel restaurant via text, etc, etc. Very personal touches through an automated assistant are very well thought out and delivered conveniently via text or email as preferred. A standard routine for this hotel but tremendously convenient so much so that I can't help but wonder why this is not universally done! Kudos to the Picton Harbour Inn! Travelzoo offered us a fabulous deal with the included breakfast. The Lighthouse restaurant is very popular with locals so you know right there that the food is good and also reasonably priced. I honestly don't recall ever seeing coffee priced at $1.50! Staff told us we could have anything on the menu when they saw our Travelzoo voucher. Our trip was literally stress free! Our room was comfortable and was quiet despite the hotel having many guests. We could see that fishing for Walleye is clearly a popular sport as we would see 1 to 5 boats (quietly) going out/coming back each of the 3 days that we stayed. We loved our harbour water view and watching the ducks and birds was truly very relaxing!!! So much to do and see in the area even though we visited in November. Make sure that you plan to go when Prince Edward County (PEC) Countylicious (Oct/Nov) is on so that you can experience the opportunities of fine dining with fixed price menus at the local restaurants.

We had an issue with our shower/bath becoming clogged. Staff were responsive and dealt with this promptly so this was not an issue for us. We found that the staff at the reception, the restaurant and room cleaning - all did a great job. Really personalized service so kudos to everyone! Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We actually reminisced about how similar the vibe was to our trip to Nova Scotia with everyone being so laid back and friendly! We had a great experience at this hotel!

It was a pleasant stay and the hotel room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast which was complimentary with my stay was good with friendly staff. There are a couple of things I would say is that they should have a larger front mat, since in winter it is needed when coming out of the cold, wind and snow. Also some body cream in the bathroom would be nice. It is also great that they have a fridge and microwave in the room.

Our waitress was very nice, friendly, efficient and helpful. She was smiling and seemed to really enjoy her work. The breakfast was delicious. We are looking forward to going back soon!

Loved the ease of access for my friend with special needs. Staff were so helpful and accomodating. Beds were so comfortable and room clean. Conveniently located we were able to walk and her to use her scooter to dinner and to shop. Lovely scenery on the water.

Great location, nicely, renovated rooms and an incredible breakfast included where you could choose anything off the menu, including steak and eggs!

Overall, excellent accommodations -- central, easy to locate, clean and comfortable.

Special deal with Travel Zoo - Bottle of local wine and 2 take away wine glasses. Breakfast was excellent on site with anything on the breakfast menu. View from out 3rd floor balcony overlooking the harbour was awesome. One block from main street Picton with dozens of eateries. Ten minutes away off Highway #33 -check out "The Miller House Cafe" for their charcuterie menu and across the street to "The Inn" for dessert. Great combination with the Cafe overlooking the Bay of Quinte and the Inn overlooking the Lake on the Mountain. Two blocks away from the Picton Harbour Inn was the Macaulay Mansion and next to it was church built by Macaulay in the 1800's. You can park beside the mansion (free) and head along the nature trail to the Macaulay Conservation area . Don't miss the "Bird House City" at the end of the trail featuring over 100 birdhouses in all different designs.

Enjoyed our stay on the whole. Daily breakfasts and restaurant service was very good. Only complaint would be the 2 double beds were somewhat uncomfortable (we should have asked for a queen). Location was good and proximity to main street shopping was handy (despite having to navigate the hill up to the main drag).

Great getaway......room was clean and cozy, staff was friendly and helpful, location was great, breakfast was amazing and checking in was very easy.

Everything just so. Lots of parking, nice view, perfect location, online check-in, very friendly staff. The included breakfast meant a choice from anything on the menu, and how could that have been better.

This was a great deal at a nice hotel. The rooms are modern and reasonable size. They include microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Location is excellent with the harbour and east walk into town for restaurants and shops. The travel zoo deal was terrific value. The restaurant makes amazing breakfast.

Every thing was great, the rooms with clean comfortable beds except lighting is not best, needs more lights near the tv area. Breakfast sumptuous and delicious. The staff and service very friendly. I absolutely recommend Picton Harbour Inn.

Staff are extremely friendly & accommodating! The restaurant offers a variety of food & is excellent! Just wish they were open in the evening for dinner.

Overall, it was excellent. The hotel is very easy to find, the view is beautiful, booking and check-in very efficient. The room, while a bit small, was very clean and well-appointed.

The frig has water leakage. We dried it a few times.

First it was so easy and nice to have keyless entry into our room . When we stepped into the room we were surprised by the brightness and cleanliness and spaciousness of the area. The view from our balcony was awesome and the balcony had two comfortable chairs to sit in. Our breakfast included at the adjoined restaurant was hot, tasty and served by cheerful, friendly wait staff. Perfect experience.!!!

The location is perfect with a beautiful view of the harbour and walkable to the shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and the restaurant offered a full breakfast and lunch.

Overall it was a good experience. We were unable to use the breakfast voucher for the first day as there was a thirty minute wait. We were offered lunch but by then we were already a distance away at a winery. Bed was lumpy and quite uncomfortable. Awesome view! A fair amount of street (traffic) noise the second morning. Bathroom lighting was overkill. Room was very clean.

Upon arrival, we were given a friendly welcome by Gerry at the front desk, and, because our original room was being renovated, we were actually upgraded, at no extra charge, to a suite with a balcony and harbour view. Unfortunately, it was quite cold and windy while we were there, so were not really able to enjoy the balcony. But otherwise, a very comfortable room. The complimentary breakfast was substantive and delicious. We did a bit of strolling along Picton's main street, which was very accessible from the hotel and ended up ordering dinner from the Coach Pub. The fish and chips was amazing.

I had a severe reaction to something in the room. Sevee coughing and running nose. Stopped when I left the room. Probably some chemical used in cleaning. Floor was very cold.

Third floor harbour view newly renovated rooms with a fantastic view of the harbour were excellent, very clean, very comfortable, with a large bathroom. Room 307 was slightly larger than the other third floor rooms, with also somewhat of a larger vista view. Great stay with great, friendly staff.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely harbour view. Short drive to Sandbanks Provincial Park. Don’t miss breakfast at the Inn - delicious!
