It was our second staycation at the Palliser. We'll definitely be back.

Great weekend....room was warmer than we would like. They were so helpful trying to lower the temp. lowest it got to was 20.5c. Our preference. is closer to 16c, ideally.

Loved this hotel...would recommend Fairmont Gold.

The hotel is great, along with all the facilities. The room was way too hot and we had a hard time getting a good sleep.

Such a beautiful stay! The staff were very friendly, polite, and attentive. We were doing a “staycation”, and they made sure it felt special for us! The history of the hotel is very neat, and you can feel it surrounding you. The food at the Hawthorn Dining Lounge was delicious, I definitely recommend going there!

Celebrated my birthday at the Fairmont on a lay over in Calgary. The hotel is beautiful and the staff made our the experience one of the best we’ve had staying at a hotel. We had dinner in The Hawthorn dining room and the food and service was outstanding

Unfortunately when we checked in there was a Christmas party in the lobby. It was so loud it was so hard to hear and talk. We were offered an upgrade to a Fairmont Gold room for a reasonable price and we happily accepted. When we got to our room, it was the same as what we had booked. The only benefit was the lounge. We were right by the elevator and could hear it in our room all night

We were fortunate enough to arrive at a time where the lovely Palliser was all dressed up for Christmas and everything was stunningly beautiful. The staff are warm and welcoming; the Hawthorn (lobby bar) was great & a fabulous 2 piece band was playing. Our room was quite large and although a little older, well appointed and we appreciated the inform Nespresso coffee. This hotel is also very well located with easy access to many city highlights, restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay there again, especially with the TravelZoo deal!!

They took the time to answer all our questions about the local area, offering insightful recommendations about restaurants, attractions, and the hotel's rich history, which added an extra layer of charm to our visit. The decor throughout the hotel is simply stunning—each space has been thoughtfully designed with luxurious finishes and an atmosphere that exudes both comfort and sophistication. Lovely weekend escape. A convenient place to lay our heads when attending an event in downtown Calgary.

Had another get away at the Palliser. Room was great and the staff were helpful and friendly as always.

Signage from the 2 parkade entrances to the Hotel could be improved.

Christmas party was held there, so it's our treat to ourselves to stay there. Love the pool, hot tub and best of all the steam room.

Really enjoyed the stay. Only two items that would have been nice - just a clock in the room. Had to look at my phone just to know the time. Also it would have been nice it there was bottled water available

The staff at the Fairmount are phenomenal.

The Palliser is a beautiful hotel, and we were delighted to be upgraded to Fairmont Gold for an additional charge. High Tea was a special treat (and more filling than I thought it would be). The saltwater pool was refreshing, the hot tub large enough for three couples with room besides, the lighting and music enchanting. The rose-scented toiletries in the washroom were so nice we inquired on how we could order some. The staff were attentive and kind, and went above and beyond to make our short stay a truly memorable one.

Can’t wait to return here again for a staycation. We’re so fortunate to have the Palliser in our home town.

Room temperature did not adjust properly. Staff said it was the electrical outage. Will watch for that next time.

One of the top hotels in Calgary. It's always our first choice.

Our check in process was smooth and friendly. The room was beautiful and clean. We were there to celebrate my birthday and the hotel had a lovely surprise delivered to our room! The only thing I regret is not booking for another night!

we were attending an event in downtown calgary - the hotel was a great location, stunning building, good restaurant.

Easy to book, easy to check in. The credit did little towards our breakfast, still had to pay $25 on top of the $50 credit. Breakfast consisted of an omelette and latte, 2 egg breakfast plus a juice. surely didn't get value there for a breakfast of $78.

The only reason the room got 4 stars is that the bathtub is small and outdated in the room.

Overall we had a great time at the Palliser.

We went for our anniversary and the hotel upgraded our room and left a sweet surprise in our room to help celebrate. The hotel is beautiful, the room was perfect, had everything we needed for our stay. They have a gym, spa and pool. The Hawthorne restaurant in the lobby was really good too. The staff were all very kind and accommodating.

Everything was lovely and clean. The pool area was not crowded and the fitness room is well equipped. The proximity to Stephen Street was great.

Parking is extra, of course, which you might want people to know about.

Parked our vehicle for our 2 day stay and walked to great shopping and dining. Enjoyed downtown historic Calgary.
