This property is exceptional! Beautiful grounds, wonderful staff and the room came with so many thoughtful extras. We only stayed one night passing through, but would love to go back one day and spend more time there.

The $50 resort experience fee was a bit steep. Since we only stayed one night we didn’t get much use out of it unfortunately.

The restaurant staff were very accommodating and pleasant and the meals were excellent. . I did not meet the housekeeping staff but the room was cleaned in a prompt and efficient manner. We had a chance to talk with a Golf course employee who was very willing to discuss the impact of the devastating wildfire of July 2024. Jasper is a jewel of the Rockies and will always be a vacation destination .

The use of the $50 dining credit became a contentious issue. I elected to apply the dining credit to meals eaten at the ORSO restaurant in the hotel. In fact the $50 dining credit was not applied to the hotel invoice. I was informed that the credit did not apply to the ORSO restaurant. I was not informed of this at the time of check-in. I requested to speak to the Reservations Manager Mr. Patel to resolve this issue in my favor. After much discussion he agreed to debit the $50 from the invoice under the category "complimentary room credit" I strongly suggest Travelzoo clarify this voucher detail so that others are not subjected to the negative experience I encountered.

No a/c in room; mosquitos in room; front desk staff misguided us about open businesses in Jasper; bill had extra billing for pet that we requested be removed and was removed

meal was pricey and turned out to be nothing special; scenery and hooved animals wandering around JPS was spectacular, as was JPL itself

Was our Anniversary and the staff made it extra special.

Travellers should be aware that there is work happening on the property to restore many units post forest fires. That could also affect the type of room/cabin you would like to book.
