Enjoyed Most
This Travelzoo Special was great. It was what convinced me to take a mini vacation to Ottawa a city I haven't visited for almost 20 years. I enjoyed sharing my time with my daughter who joined me from Toronto. The hotel was in a great location right across from the Rideau Centre and just around the corner from the Byward Market and anything we wanted to do was just a short walk away. I loved that the buffet breakfast was included with this deal and the dining room was delightful with a great selection of hot and cold items. We also enjoyed the pool and the extensive gym equipment.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very accommodating when I arrived after an early morning flight. They let me check my luggage at the Front Desk so I could explore the city while I waited for a room to become available. When I checked back in at 12:30 they had a room ready for me by 1 o'clock which I so appreciated. The warm cookie was a nice treat and when I told the staff member at the Front Desk that my daughter was arriving later by train she gave me an additional cookie for her. The only problem I had was with the Air conditioning. The A/C itself was fine but I couldn't stop the fan which made it very cold. A staff member tried to help but we didn't have much success. My daughter was able to get it a little better regulated but it was difficult. I liked the fact that someone texted me to see how I was enjoying my stay and that I could follow up on the difficulty I was having via text. I also appreciated having access to room service when my daughter's train arrived 2 hours later than she expected. All in all it was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone.
