Location was good as was included breakfast. There were a lot of added unexpected taxes, something to do with sporting and festival events that we were not attending, but that is the city of Toronto that adds these.

When checking in the concierge asked about my visit told him it was for my sons birthday and we were going to the ballgame , he told me he would send something to the room for his birthday which I thought would be nice, never received anything. Was disappointed. Also the breakfast buffet was not hot at all thank goodness it was complimentary.

Motel vibe with downtown Toronto hotel prices and crowds. Had to make a special request to have glasses in the room (they provide exactly two paper cups). They took over an hour to arrive. No makeup mirror, no slippers, mould spots on shower wall.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay this last weekend at the Chelsea Hotel Toronto! My only concern was that we had breakfast included with the vouchers but the process was to have this cost charged to the room and then it would be taken off the account. This indeed did happen but I was hesitant to go back for breakfast the following morning as it was 50$ for 1 adult and 1 child.

It was an overnight stay and convenient.

Stayed twice, once with travel zoo. First room was not great, not updated but clean enough. Patio was scared, dead baby pigeon and pigeon nest outside. Kids loved pool and slide. Arcade room games are dusty and gross. Second stay was better. Staff always friendly, from Bellman to Gigi at front desk to restaurant staff.

Staff were exceptionally courteous and accomodating.

Everything was a positive experience with the exception of the pool temperature. It was very cold and my kids couldn’t swim in it. Neither could we! I’m so glad that breakfast was included! Very good, but it would have been quite expensive otherwise.

Went with my husband and grown kids for a show at Ed Mirvish. The hotel was very close to everything and breakfast was included.

Good size room for a family with little kids. The kitchenette was handy. Good breakfast selection and well located in the city.

Location was good and the room was clean.

Arrived to find they didn’t have the room type I had booked. I paid extra for an upgraded room and they didn’t have any of that room type left. They offered to pay for my parking, however my vehicle did not fit in their underground parking and had to park next door, which they could not accommodate the rate.

Great location. Good room for a family, excellent queen bed, pullout couch was a bit punched, lots of springs for heavier kids. Should be replaced with new memory foam pullout.

No "resort fee", but the unmentioned FIFA WC tax added an unexpected 12%. Breakfast included for 2, but $35 each for teen kids. $70 for 4 at breakfast would be a lot for the quality.

The staff were excellent, even with the hoards of people. They were helpful and accommodating. The rooms are fine, but basic. There was no information in the rooms as to events, sites, or things to do in Toronto.

I had stayed at the Chelsea when it was a Delta hotel, and found it a bit more elegant.

We chose to dine there but would not recommend that

Great location to visit Toronto. Central and close to many transportation options. Staff were friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and well appointed.

It was great!! Great location. Wish there were glasses in the room instead of paper cups. But otherwise this deal was amazing!! Breakfast included ! Wish the buffet wasn't so cafeteria style but the food was good!!

Very busy lobby but hallways are extremely quiet. Staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful (stroller plus family with mobility issues). Kids pool and activity centre were big hit!

The room had a musty smell - I was told breakfast was NOT included with reservations - had to go down 3x and prove my voucher for the breakfast - which was not that great anyway.

I booked through Travel zoo and everything was seamless!

Reservations, Reception, Restaurant staff were wonderful. Booking the room was a breeze, very detailed information prior to my arrival. I booked dinner reservations and Anchula (forgive me if I got it wrong) was so nice, helpful and friendly. Checking in took a bit of a wait but there were many new arrivals. Suada was lovely, told me everything that I needed to know. The room was spacious enough, simplistic but functional. Mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities. I appreciated instructions Infront of the coffee machine, and under the remote control. comfortable bed, nice that it had a balcony, there was a clock too which I liked, electrical and usb ports on the base of the lamp by the bed. Ok bathroom, good lighting and magnifying mirror for makeup, shaving. The restaurant was great, our server Daniel was delightful made us feel very special. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed my stay here, there are so many hotels in the city, but for me great service is a must and for that alone, I would definitely recommend the Chelsea hotel and I look forward to coming back.

Staff was super and proficient. Breakfast choices were fantastic and foods were good quality. Parking was unpleasant, very hot, crowded spaces, with cement columns everywhere. Little signage, so hard to navigate.

Great experience. We took advantage of the room with included dinner package through TravelZoo. Excellent value! We would do it again.

We had a wonderful stay. Staff are excellent and the location is central to many landmarks and activities.

Such a great location, walking distance to most of the city’s landmarks. The outdoor patio , although not open on our visit , is a little slice of heaven!
