Great staff, nice accommodations, would be better if there was a fridge in the room

The Sutton is one of the nicest hotels to stay at in Vancouver. The location is perfect, right off Robson. If you have a dog, the residential neighborhood starting to the west provides a calm, lovely walk. Staff are always top notch and personable, rooms spotless, self park is easy, and even local products in the mini bar to boot!

Due to the name Sutton place hotel Vancouver I went to hotel Vancouver but that was the wrong location. The room did not have a bath tub so I asked for a room change. The bed and pillows and room temp were very comfortable and I am fussy. Nice big tv. No face cloths, makeup remover, keurig didn’t work, no room in fridge to put a water bottle then was charged for a beer I did not drink

I was charged for a beer and water that I did not drink. The fridge was too full and I had to take some things out to fit my own water bottle. The keurig did not work. I gave up and went downstairs. Would have liked to have face cloths and makeup remover

Check in went smoothly with upgrade when we asked about it. Staff were friendly and accomodating, and professional.

I really enjoyed my time. The rooms were great, nice and big and beautiful however, I did feel like it was slightly clean. I noticed some things when I checked in like maybe it wasn’t vacuuming properly some hairs around the room and bathroom. But otherwise really good.

It was just a one night stay this trip as we were passing thru. Location is perfect and the hotel is beautiful.

The Sutton Place Vancouver was DELIGHTFUL. It is centrally located with excellent access to shopping, sports events and great dining places. The hotel was VERY clean, the rooms were spacious and the staff was excellent. The free upgrade to a suite was a wonderful touch!

We had a pleasant room. The staff were very friendly. The facilities (pool, gym, steam room) were great. Except there was a lack of 10 & eight pound weights. The location is excellent. The ambience was enjoyable.

Staff was very attentive and very professional anytime we had contact with them. Whether the front door staff, reception, cleaning or serving, we felt really well taken care of. Room was spacious, linens were great, the bed super comfortable and the rooms very quiet. Our only problem was the shower which provided tepid temperatures in the morning, bordering on cold, despite running for a few minutes.

Our check in was warm and welcoming, our room spacious, very bright and clean and upon checking out the lobby had been transformed overnight into a beautiful Christmas Parlour- it was magical. Perfect sleepover for Mother and two adult daughters.

Such a lovely hotel with a small hotel feel! We were greeted by a doorman which was a nice feature, and the room was beautifully appointed. The mattress and pillows were super comfy. Located steps from a wine shop, a grocery store and cinema, as well as blocks away from great shopping. Great fitness room with a steam shower Which we used every day. We loved everything about it. Would definitely stay here again!

Location so good for walking and shopping. Free parking was wonderful. We are seniors, so expenses have to be watched but we had a lovely time.

Couple of days downtown to see the Christmas sights.

We were told we could park until 1. Then pay any hours after that. We arrived two hours later around 3 and had a 100 ticket. The booking said we could park until 4 pm. Not happy about that.

Would have been nice to have a fridge that we could use. The one in the room was stocked with items to purchase so we couldn’t put anything in it.

Great experience. Comfy beds. Very clean. Friendly staff. Our only complaint is the rooms don’t have a mini fridge for food or drink.

From the moment we drove up, the friendly service was excellent and that same service continued for the three nights we stayed.

Five Start beginning to end. We had a small issue with the shower control mechanism. It was attended to immediately.

Very pleasant and and attentive staff at the reception desk. Also, off season prices allow us to visit visit several times during Fall/Winter. Our favourite downtown Vancouver Hotel.

We are a retired couple who live on the sunshine coast and have stayed at the Sutton place Hotel dozens of nights , primarily during off season for years now. We love the staff, the location and the ambiance. It's like a holiday home away from home. Always recommend it to others.

We appreciated the free upgrade on the room and the Boulevard Restaurant is consistently amazing.

Superb. Lovely hotel - lobby and furnishings perfect. Bed very comfortable. Room upgrade (a nice surprise), concierge very helpful in recommending restaurants. Dining room could use a makeover - and menu not very appealing (fancy language and ordinary food). Excellent in every other way.

I need a place to stay prior to a procedure at Vancouver General Hospital. My son was my escort. We both had a very comfortable experience at the Sutton Place Hotel and I had a fabulous sleep prior to my procedure. It was quiet, pleasant, spotlessly clean and great quality.

Loved it & free parking too!

We were thrilled to receive the upgrade to a larger room. We enjoyed the spa, bar and restaurant. We will definitely go back!
