We would not have booked this road trip to Ottawa without the awesome travelzoo deal at the chateau. So, thank you travelzoo. We loved being central to many of the things we wanted to see and being able to walk most places.

The chateau was lovey and we were given an upgraded room which was very appreciated. The valet parking daily charge seemed a bit steep but maybe it is the same everywhere. We were happy to know our car was safely parked for our three nights. The location of the chateau was a big part of our having a great getaway!

Exceptional rooms, staff and location.

The pool should have better steps for entering into the water. I witnessed a patron with arthritis have an extremely difficult time getting in and out of the pool. Needs more accessible options. It would be nice to have options for outdoor seating. The only current option is the outdoor restaurant. This is not ideal. Nice outdoor sitting areas with comfortable furniture is needed.

Elegant, classic, good scenery, the buffet breakfast is a little disappointing.

Cheery, helpful staff - we stayed in a Gold Suite with a concierge and a private lounge with lavish snacks, canapes, and the breakfast buffet. Close to the main attractions, no need for a car. Great value with this deal.

Very good stay and a good deal with Travel Zoo.

We had a great stay, the Gold experience was a wonderful add on. The only negative was that the parking lot was full already an hour before check in so we had to park at the Rideau centre, and walk over, which was a bit annoying for a hotel of their calibre - they should have enough parking spots for registered guests and decline people coming for an event rather than hotel guests.

We enjoyed the room, although there was not much of a view, and everything seemed a little dated Rm 433. Drinks on the terrace and fireworks were a nice touch, and the buffet breakfast, while tasty and nourishing, was a little blah.

All staff were very helpful and friendly. Very professional. Room was lovely and comfortable. Thank you!

The rooms are worn and tired. Only one usb port, on the desk, across the room. The few electrical outlets were used for lighting and power bars for more lighting. The first towel I pulled after my shower was worn with a hole in the middle. outside of toilet was not cleaned properly. Traces of someone's bad night lingering.

Staff were great, nice room but abutted to ice making machine, need sound insulation on common wall, shower door Jamed , service in Zoie’s was outstanding, service om Terrace was slow and not remarkable even though there seemed to be ample staff standing around. I guess I am too old but $25 for 5 oz of middle of road was a bit much. Make it 8 Oz and perhaps my reasonable. Extra 3 ox would not appreciably add to cost.

We had a most enjoyable in a Hotel we are Fi Iliad with and great weather was a bonus. Also fireworks display was an added bonus.

Staff was very pleasant at check-in and able to link my reservation to my All Accor account and even upgraded our room.

The whole feel of the hotel is fabulous, old style and very charming. The staff is very friendly and polite, and everyone we encountered could speak to us in French.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Lee at the fourth floor check in desk was friendly, helpful and efficient. We wish we had more time to chat with him!

There was only one person at check in so the wait was long The room was musty so we opened the windows. Otherwise it was great.

The rooms are nice. The breakfast is excellent.

The entire Hotel is NOT Accessible at all for a handicapped person who walks with a cane. There are stairs everywhere inside the hotel that I was forced to use if I wanted to get around inside. It was SO bad for me. PARKING is not available so we had to PARK 2 blocks away and haul our luggage up to the hotel by ourselves. Uphill all the way. The front desk didn't care one bit how difficult this was for me. I plan to take this issue up with the City of Ottawa and CBC Marketplace. The Hotel offers ZERO help for disabled guests. I am disgusted and angry about all of it.

Great hotel, wonderful service. Some feedback - room needed some updates especially bathroom. Lighting could be better.

Parking at $60 before tax is our only complaint. This is very high and would keep us from returning.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful service, great location!

The location is perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and efficient. But we wouldn’t be able to afford to go back unless we got another good deal from Travel Zoo or another source. This one time was lovely!

We went to swim but the pool was cold not even warm, didn't swim at all, The other observation was the floor was quite wet and not cleaned. The hotel didn't have sauna or jacuzzi which was surprising, some areas looked dated. TV cable was a little issue too

From start to finish, our one-night getaway was top-notch. We were warmly welcomed both at the front desk and the Gold Floor check-ins, thought our room was lovely, and found the staff in the Gold Floor lounge delightful. The complimentary food was also excellent in every way. I would highly recommend this experience. I hope we have the chance to do it again!

Not a place for children although a pool but remains a gym facilite ( a few chairs on one side and that’s it’s! ) made to exercice / do your laps and move out)

Should update bathrooms with modern showers - old bath tubs with moldy caulking is really of the past and all clients deserve modern showers
