Afternoon Tea was not special. Bread was dry for the sandwiches. Not much of a selection for the savoury selection at all. Scones were nice but mean on the cream and jam for two people and 4 scones, there was enough for one person. Cakes small and nondescript. Not very tasty. I've definitely had better Afternoon Teas elsewhere. I would not recommend to friends or family.

Amazing finger sandwiches and scones to die for! We always ask for extras to bring home. The service is excellent. And the ambiance, especially around Christmas, is unparalleled! Nothing but good things about this tea house :)

Our Afternoon Tea at Pendray Tea House was excellent. We have been to many high teas, including in London, Scotland and Fairmont hotels, and this was among the best.

The sandwiches and cakes felt as if they had been left out uncovered for some time, as they were quite dry.

The tea was lovely with lots of selection. The food was very fresh and well presented.

Size of table was too small and not all dishes could fit properly. Music was too old fashioned and was on repeat, heard the same selections many times. The food selections were odd and staff did not check on tea refills- we had to flag them down.

The Pendray Inn is a perfect place to experience Afternoon Tea Victorian style! The space is a beautifully restored Victorian manor house creating a time-travelling ambience. The selection of sweet and savoury treats was ample and delicious and the selection of gourmet loose leaf teas was exquisite. The service was warm and thoughtful and the maître d’ was welcoming and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will go back! I highly recommend this Afternoon Tea destination for tourists and locals alike!

Such a lovely place to go for a hightea.The food was delicious ( and they provided a lovely gluten free option for me, for only $5 more). The staff were attentive and lovely. Available, but not al over you. I look forward to going back in the summer when the garden is in bloom .

It was a lovely thing to do to visit with my friend who had never done this before. I do now find that I’m not so interested in eating that much white flour and sugar so I probably won’t do it again. I may return for scones though! They’re really good there. One note is that there is quite a bit of construction noise that will go on for another year or two across the street, so it made conversation a little harder on the porch. However, it was excellent that we had that choice because I am still preferring not to go inside unmasked. That makes enjoying tea difficult indoors! The staff were quite lovely and helpful to us.

Always a great experience. The food and atmosphere is always fantastic. The service this time was a little bit spotty but I think maybe they were training some new people so it didn't feel like a huge deal.

I would highly recommend. It is always a nice place to spend an afternoon!

Myself and my good friend made the most of the Travel Zoo discount and thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon together. Afternoon tea here is excellent! Why go anywhere else :)

I've been to the Pendray Tea Room many times over the years. It's always a lovely experience. I take guests visiting from out of province whenever I have visitors. Today we celebrated a lady's 50th birthday. It was lovely as always.

First time high tea-goers, excellent staff and service. Our young kids loved the food and experience.

I would give them a rating of 10/10. The atmosphere is awesome, staff are wonderful and the food is stupendous. All five ladies had a lovely time and would go back .

We were celebrating a birthday and the birthday gal was surprised by the server with a lovely piece of cake with a candle! The tea service was exceptional and the food was delicious. It is our favourite place to go for tea in Victoria.
