Start off your Montreal adventures by paying a visit to the Montreal Museum of Archaeology and History, situated right across the street from the hotel. I was there on opening day. Everything was bright and shiny new. Each of the 33 rooms has a different decor and theme all tied in to Montreal in the 60's with a focus on EXPO 67 and how it helped identify Montreal at the time. The room is appointed with very interesting photos and artifacts. Fun and funky details. A tasty breakfast basket is delivered every morning. A Keurig coffee machine is in the room. The staff is great and they went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Situated in the "old port" area of Montreal. Museums are nearby along with great restaurants. My new fave is LOV ( a vegan) restaurant on McGill St. 10 minutes away on foot.

A brand new fun hotel in Old Montreal. The designers of Hotel Uville had fun putting their new establishment together. Every one of the 33 rooms has different details that echo Montreal in the 60's. The theme of my room was "The Quiet Revolution" capturing the changing social and political movements of the 60's.
