The Vincent Hotel in Southport offers chic, upscale accommodation "conveniently in the centre of town" (The AA). Set on Lord Street, Southport's landmark canopied Victorian boulevard, the hotel is housed in a contemporary-design building, a 5-minute walk from King's Gardens and Southport Model Railway Village.
Southport Pleasureland and Southport Pier are within 10 minutes' walk of the hotel, while Royal Birkdale Golf Club is five minutes' drive away. Aintree Racecourse, home of the Grand National, is a 35-minute drive away. Liverpool, known for its "impressive cultural heritage", takes approximately 50 minutes to reach by car.
There's a "stylish, contemporary" (The AA) feel to The Vincent Hotel's interiors, which include a plush lobby lounge and a smart cocktail bar with parquet flooring and leather armchairs.
Guests can order from an eclectic menu, which "roams around Britain and Europe before arriving in Japan" at the hotel's 2-AA-Rosette restaurant, where quirky teapot-shaped lamps hang from the ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of Lord Street. There's also a fitness room on site.
Polished guestrooms are decorated in soft neutral tones with dark wood furnishings and black-and-white photographic murals. All come with free Wi-Fi, TVs and mini bars, as well as sitting space, laptop-sized safes and coffee machines. Higher-tariff rooms add soaking tubs and city views, while suites have separate lounges, marble-topped coffee tables and balconies. The hotel's penthouse features a steam room and a rooftop terrace with a hot tub.
