Members looking to stay in a boutique hotel in the heart of the Annapolis Arts District will be hard-pressed to find a better option than this one. The United States Naval Academy, St. John's College and the Navy-Marine Corp Stadium are all less than a mile away. Charming, brick-lined Main Street, where guests can stroll from boutiques to art galleries to pubs and wind up on the Chesapeake Bay, is a 10-minute walk away.

The nautical-inspired lobby is rustic, with whimsical modern elements and nods to the nearby Naval Academy. Spacious guest rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi, bright color schemes and Malin + Goetz bath products. On-site dining options include Poindexter Coffee and Camp Severn Shore.

Enjoyed our second visit. Would have preferred a room facing the street rather than the parking lot and housing project out back.

Didn't like the "staring" portraits in the room...both were angled to be seen from the bed and toilet.

I liked everything other than being charge twice.
Other Comments
In addition to paying for the room in full on Travelzoo, the hotel charged me again for the same room (essentially double charging me) despite the fact that I called the front desk and explained it to them. That is disappointing. Now I have to go through the process of trying to get my money back.

Decor is loud but fun. Bed was very comfortable. No coffee maker in the room but we didn’t need it this stay.

Loved the ambience of the room and the attention to detail with the decor. It was also close to downtown Annapolis. We did not get a chance to use the bar or the out door patio. We will do that next visit. The food was good and the staff was attentive.

Brand new hotel. Was given a big room on the 6th floor. Loved the comfy bed and had lots of space. Maelin-Goetz toiletries. Decent food options (avocado toast and coffee!). We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was pretty quiet although at some points we could hear every word of the couple next door. I think their bathroom was literally next to the head of our bed. Other than that, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the theme of the hotel was very unique. Sets it apart from other places nearby. Great rate, we plan to come back in the future. Parking is available onsite but expensive. If you don’t mind a quick walk there is a public garage very close. FYI, parking is somewhat confusing and they save the covered garage for valet only. So although there is plenty of parking outside onsite behind the hotel, if crowded you have to park a ways out in the lot. Not a problem, but the signage was lacking so it seemed like it was almost a public lot. We kept seeing “Private parking” signs where we were directed to park not realizing until later that they were actually the hotel’s signs. You can walk downtown to all the main streets, dock, and other places. Many great restaurants nearby!! Great stay overall.
