Les Jardins d'Adalric is a peaceful property in France's Alsace region, where "forests and hills shelter beautiful cities and villages, superb vineyards and cosy restaurants" (The Guardian).
The property is in a quiet residential area, a 15-minute stroll from the centre of Obernai. Lonely Planet describes Obernai as "a vision of half-timbered, vine-draped, ring-walled loveliness".
Located on the Alsace Wine Route, halfway between Colmar and Strasbourg, it is an ideal starting point for exploring the region's scenic and culinary diversity -- which you can do by foot, by bike or by car.
The centre of Strasbourg -- the official seat of the European Parliament and "one of France’s most appealing and sophisticated cities" (The Independent) -- is 20 minutes' drive away or around 30 minutes by train from Obernai.
The hotel has a bright and modern interior that features several pieces of striking art, including a red statue in the lobby and a life-size colourful zebra in the breakfast room. Facilities include two bars, a terrace, a large garden and a tennis court.
