The Castelo de Santiago do Cacém is an old Moorish castle and is approximately 15 minutes' walk away. The city of Sines, birthplace of Vasco de Gama and famous for its coastline, its medieval fortress and its excellent wines, is 20 minutes' drive away. The Roman ruins of Miróbriga are 15 minutes' walk from the hotel and Badoca Safari Park is less than 15 minutes' drive away.
The À Terra restaurant serves Portuguese and Mediterranean dishes cooked using a wood or charcoal oven. The restaurant uses local ingredients, including produce from the chef's vegetable garden, and serves meals on the terrace, which has panoramic views. The hotel also offers a variety of cookery classes.
Rooms are warm and bright. Many of them have a balcony with views. Wi-Fi is free.
