Hotel Palomé in Andorra offers stylish modern accommodation surrounded by a dramatic Pyrenees landscape and overlooking the Canal dels Picons waterway.
Set on a tree-lined road, the hotel occupies a contemporary chalet-style building featuring a mottled stone façade with wood and glass accents, and is within easy reach of Arinsal -- a lively resort offering access to the Vallnord ski slopes, along with a range of shops and restaurants.
Erts village centre is a 10-minute walk away, whilst both Xixerella, with its pitch and putt course, and “smart, urban” (The Daily Telegraph) La Massana are both around 5 minutes’ drive from the hotel. The country’s capital, Andorra la Vella, known for its picturesque old town, takes about 15 minutes to reach by car.
There’s a smart feel to Hotel Palomé, which includes a grey-toned café with a bright blue bar area and a cosy lounge furnished with leather armchairs and a fireplace. Guests can dine on local cuisine in the chic restaurant with its soft yellow accents, bold artwork and floor-to-ceiling windows, and relax on the mountain-view terrace. Massages are provided for a fee and private ski storage is complimentary.
The hotel’s guestrooms are decorated in a neutral colour scheme with light wood furniture. All include free Wi-Fi, TVs and mini bars, as well as mountain and valley views. Suites add sitting areas and terraces, whilst top-level suites come with coffee machines, wood-lined ceilings and separate living rooms with sofabeds.
