Views of the Arabian Gulf spread from the upmarket Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel, which is set on a private sandy beach along Ajman’s lively seafront. The hotel occupies an imposing building offering a contemporary take on traditional Arabian design with its curving terracotta-toned structure topped by minaret-style towers. It’s around a 15-minute walk from Ajman’s vibrant marina and Ajman Museum, housed in an 18th-century fort. Wildlife-rich Wasit Nature Reserve, known for its unique bird population, is a 20-minute drive away.
Modern grandeur defines the hotel's interiors, which open to an airy marble-floored atrium with a domed roof, and a lobby lounge furnished with plush sofas. Alcohol-free dining options include an all-day Mediterranean eatery with a gulf-view terrace, and a sleek Asian restaurant with a sushi bar and Teppanyaki table, and guests can relax on rattan loungers in the Shisha café and sip mocktails at the poolside bar. There’s a fitness centre with a gym, sauna, steam room and whirlpool tub, as well as a spa (fees may apply), a zigzag-design outdoor pool, and a private beach dotted with sunbeds and umbrellas.
Offering sea or city views, the guestrooms have a polished feel with dark wood accents, decorative fretwork and a neutral colour palette flecked gold and aquamarine. All include free Wi-Fi, TVs, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Higher tariff rooms are decked in orange and green, and add welcome drinks and Nespresso machines, whilst suites come with living areas. Top-level suites open to balconies or terraces, and some have dining space. There are also swanky one- and two-bedroom apartments with kitchens and breakfast counters, and room service is available 24/7.
