As the name implies, Hilton Daytona Beach Resort/Ocean Walk Village sits inside the billion-dollar Ocean Walk shopping and entertainment complex. Covering six square blocks of oceanfront, the village has beachwear shops, themed, family-friendly restaurants, and a movie multiplex. In the hotel itself there are seven more bars and restaurants, including a steakhouse and a seasonal beachfront bar.

This is Daytona's largest hotel, and all 744 rooms are fresh off of a 2015 renovation. On property there is a full-service spa with massage treatments, anti-aging facials and body wraps with energizing citrus and coffee ingredients. There are also two outdoor pools and a separate children's pool and kid fun zone.

The resort sits right in front of the boardwalk, which is home to the historic Daytona Beach Bandshell, an outdoor stage that hosts concerts in the evenings. When a break from the saltwater is needed, the freshwater flumes and lazy river of Daytona Lagoon water park are a block away. Across the street is the Peabody Auditorium, a large performing arts center and concert hall.

Enjoyed Most
The room and the view.

Tub was clogged, remains of what caused tub to clog was thrown in the toilet and when I returned to the room I had to flush it myself, unacceptable. Also the hotel fee and the parking should not even exist, I think these fees are unnecessary specially with the rates they charge to stay.

Rooms were good, location was good.

We were charged for every single "extra" that they could think of. Self parking was a good walk away, in an unmanned parking lot that anyone could have access to. The gates were not manned, and we had notes on our windshield from the Daytona Police Department saying they had checked our car and everything was all right - - except, if they could do that - which we appreciated, anyone could have done that. We were charged $15.00 per day plus tax for unmanned self-parking, and then they had signs all over saying they were not responsible if there was a problem. This is only typical of the roadblocks we hit on everything there.
