Why We Love This Hotel
- Steps from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus and inspired by collegiate life
- Rooms feature wood paneling, plaid carpets and corn-patterned wallpaper
- The on-site "chow hall" features a Southern meat-and-three menu and Tiki bar drinks
The Graduate Lincoln is a collegiate-inspired hotel with a fun, lighthearted retro look and sits just steps from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus and the Haymarket District. Nods to the Cornhuskers exist in the corn-patterned wallpaper and corn-print curtains in the guest rooms; the front desk decorations even honor famous native Nebraskan Johnny Carson.
Rooms range from the Graduate King and Two Queen rooms which feature work stations, plush bedding, refrigerators and coffeemakers up to Campus View rooms and special Gaming suites, with a gaming table, retro video games and a standing arcade console in addition to a private bedroom and separate living room. All rooms receive complimentary Wi-Fi.
The hotel's on-site restaurant, John J's Chow Hall, offers a traditional American meat-and-three menu paired with fruity Tiki drinks. There's also a 24-hour fitness center, a swimming pool and an outdoor courtyard. Midwest Living says that Lincoln "rustles with energy" thanks to the college campus, the art-deco state capital and the Haymarket District with restaurants, bars and breweries, coffeehouses and bookstores.
