"The best part of our stay was the newly refurbished, comfortable twin-bedded room, very clean and peaceful (except for the banging of doors by visitors vacating rooms very, very early in the morning). Everything we needed was provided and the ensuite was immaculate and the beds very comfy. The lovely lady on reception, Beatrice, was very welcoming. On the whole the hotel looks rather tired especially the entrance and hallway but on balance the price was we think value for money especially as it included a nice cooked buffet-style breakfast, all laid out perfectly and easy to serve yourself."

Relaxing break

The teaspoons and cups had coffee stains on them, which I was not impressed with. Also guests were talking outside in the garden area till early hours of the morning which kept us awake

Well equipped, large and comfortable room.
Other Comments
Buffet breakfast was very poor on first morning because a group using the conference facilities emptied supply of hot food prior to guests, including ourselves. This seemed not to have been anticipated by the hotel staff, and was very slow to be addressed.

The room we were allocated was newly refurbished and extremely comfortable with a pleasant view of the garden. The ground floor of the hotel was accessible for my husband who cannot manage stairs. The restaurant was light and airy and the food was of a high quality. Bar snacks were reasonably priced. Overall a value for money break to Suffolk.

Other Comments
The hotel was not located at the park and ride as described. It was a car ride away.We were unable to sleep until the early hours as our room was directly above the party venue with loud music etc continuing until 1am-this was in spite of requesting a quiet room.
