The grand Burlington Hotel offers traditional accommodation in the artsy coastal town of Folkestone. Set at the end of a tree-lined avenue leading down to the English Channel, this relaxed hotel occupies an imposing Victorian building just a short walk from the Leas clifftop promenade and wildlife-rich Lower Leas Coastal Park with its adventure playground. Canterbury, known for its historic cathedral is around 30 minutes' drive away and the picturesque seaside town of Margate is about an hour's drive from the hotel.
The Burlington Hotel's ornate redbrick façade opens to formal interiors characterised by dark wood panelling, rich fabrics and a colourful stained glass window. Guests can relax with a drink on plush seating in one of the hotel's two stately bars, dine on dishes made from locally sourced ingredients in the refined restaurant and take a stroll around the lush private gardens.
