It is close to Times Square. We just prefer a less busy venue.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I forgot my phone charger and they charged it twice for me at the desk. My room was small, but newly done. Very clean with nice new bathroom.

On the corner of a major avenue, so easy to get a cab. Many small restaurants in the area.

The rooms were the smallest I've ever seen in NY; they placed us at the top floor, and there was a rooftop bar which played extremely loud music until 4am--our neighbor complained to the manager in the middle of the night, but they did nothing to address the noise. The elevators were extremely slow---3 functioning elevators for 36 floors is unacceptable. hotel is right outside the port authority station and there were a LOT of homeless people in the front---very sad to see. The fact that I was a Hilton honors member was never acknowledged.

The room was clean Appreciated the complimentary water and hot cider in the lobby Melinda (manager?) was attentive and helpful when we reported the issues with the HVAC system and bathroom door Carlos (lobby attendant) was very friendly and personable Appreciated the extended checkout on our last day

Issues with HVAC system in our room on the first night Broken (missing) handle on the bathroom door (did not close easily/completely) Elevators slow to arrive, multiple stops Door to our room was left open on 2 occasions after being serviced - that is, we returned to our room after being out for several hours to find that the door was left ajar! This happened even after reporting the first instance to the front desk. After being granted an extended checkout on the last day (a plus), we were not advised that the keys would be recoded, so after finally making it up to the 33rd floor on the slow elevator, we were unable to get in the room to retrieve our bags and had to go back down to the lobby to fix the key

Location was fantastic. Just west of Times Square and one block from hundreds of restaurants of Hells Kitchen. There were a couple of subway stations close by, so getting everywhere was simple. The staff at the hotel was amazing. All the folks at check in were friendly and made us feel welcome. Any staff members we ran into throughout the hotel, were courteous and helpful. Really a great experience!

The only negative I have would be about the size of the room. We were in a king room (in the XX11 stack) and the room felt really tight. I realize that rooms in NYC tend to be small, so it was probably not really outside of the norm. The reason I still gave it a 5 instead of a 4 is, although the room was tight with a king bed, two people and luggage, it was really well laid out with lots of little nooks and shelves to stash stuff away. We were able to feel comfortable even though we do not travel light and there was a lot of furniture in the room.

Easy walk to the subway and having a nice buffet breakfast on site

The rooms are very small. The maid service - ie coffee replacement varied by the day. Nice to have 2 bars - they were never very crowded. Weird entrence set up - but all in all a good deal for the money

I purchased this hotel stay as a gift for my daughter and son in law. While checking in they were told they could not bill my credit card even though Travel Zoo provided that info to them. They emailed me a pdf document that had to be printed and faxed back to them. I do not have a fax machine. I called them and they would not allow telephone authorization. The reservation specifically specified this was a gift. They should have sent me the form long before the time of check in. My daughter ended up using her own card
