Overview
Surrounded by a beautiful garden, the Ringhotel Sellhorn is located on the edge of the idyllic Heathland village of Hanstedt. It is a family-run hotel lined with ancient linden trees in Northern Germany, between Hamburg and Hannover. Hamburg and the medieval town of Lüneburg are both around 45 minutes' drive away.
Other attractions in the area include the Bossard Art Center, the Schwarze Berge Wildlife Park or the Kiekeberg Open Air Museum.
On your doorstep is Lüneburg Heath where you can enjoy long bike rides, hiking tours or horse riding. You can also get a green fee discount on three of the golf courses within a radius of 15 to 22 kilometers.
You can relax in the spa with its indoor pool, freshwater whirlpool, log cabin sauna and organic sauna with coloured lights, after a hard day exploring. There is also an illuminated scent grotto.
The Sellhorn restaurant uses sustainable local ingredients and in the summer, you can enjoy the sun terrace.
Rooms are cosy and most have a balcony with views of the meadows and forests of the Lüneburg Heath.
