Offer implies "free breakfast". Actual was a "credit" toward breakfast.

Staff were all very nice. The dinner was o.K. but very happy with the breakfasts.
Other Comments
The room, although a good size and looked good in pictures was not as clean as I expected. We found hair in between sheets that didn't belong to us and clumps of hair amongst the dust on the floor. Since the staff were only available during certain hours we had to sleep with towels over pillows. The staff were attentive enough to address the issue in the morning and cleaned the room for our second night stay.

Quite place with not a lot of people, cottage style rooms, nice staff and good food

outdoor patio dining, very hearty breakfast with many choices. Lock 28 across the "busy" highway
Other Comments
hair dryers not provided in each room---however one is made available at front desk. A little inconvenient to find this out after getting out of shower. When booking, if you have mobility issues---rooms are on 2nd and 3rd floors with no elevators

The room and the service was great. The staff was very friendly. The only problem I had was the package included breakfast of up to $26. We ordered breakfast for $16 along with a glass of orange juice. For this we were charged $3 plus HST per glass for two days for two couples. This was in excess of $30 which I thought was cash grab on top of the package. This little incident was a turn off.

Buildings were in good condition and well looked after. Staff was very accommodating.

Mattress was very poor. Had a hard time sleeping. Both of us had a sore back in the morning. Would be nice to have a king-sized bed. Also, not much to do in the area at this time of year.

The cabin rooms were very spacious and right in front if the lake. Great view, very quiet & peaceful.
Other Comments
Not really kid friendly. It's more for couples. We were the only families with kids & out children's noises may have been annoying for everyone else. I was hoping for a paranormal experience, but It's not haunted.
