Set in a Victorian building on the granite cliffs of Land's End, The Land's End Hotel has "stunning" (The AA) panoramic views of Longships Lighthouse and the Celtic Sea.

The hotel is on the Penwith Heritage Coast with Sennen Cove and Sennen Beach both less than 45 minutes' walk away along the South West Coast Path, which runs in front of the hotel. Enys Dodnan Arch -- a rock formation similar to Durdle Door -- is less than 30 minutes' walk away.

The pretty village of Porthcurno, home to "arguably the county's most beautiful bay" (The Daily Telegraph) with its pristine white-sand beaches and rugged cliffs, is less than 15 minutes' drive away.

The Land's End Hotel has an "impressive" (The AA) restaurant with "amazing" views out to sea, and you can visit for a coffee, a drink, dinner or the Cornish Cream Tea. Alternatively, you can relax with a book on a sofa in the lounge.

The AA says rooms are "pleasantly decorated" and some have "stunning" sea views. Some Inland Rooms have refurbished bathrooms with walk-in rain showers. Wi-Fi is free.

We loved this hotel! It was not glitzy or super chic (eg the bathroom was old and dated) but it was so homey and comfortable that we felt relaxed and so happy to be there. The staff were all wonderful, and what a location! Enjoyed every minute of it.

All the staff were very polite and friendly

The only thing we think they could improve on would be a seating lounge over looking the superb views.

Two days spent walking the SW coast path and relaxing at the hotel. Good bus transport if you don't want to bring a car. Breakfast was excellent each morning.
Other Comments
Ideal location for walkers with direct access to the coastal path. You can get back to the hotel by bus if you don't want to walk the same part of the coastal path

I have a dietary requirement and although I told the staff I still had food that I was unable to eat I trusted that they understood so when my food was brought out I ate something which then went on to cause me some considerable distress. I think sometimes everyone doesn’t understand the implications of someone’s dietary needs!!

Great time, plenty of hot water, great when you have been walking all day!Superb breakfasts and the cream tea was pretty good too!
Other Comments
The only thing that surprised me was there wasn't a drying room for coats and boots as lots of visitors would be walkers and the fact that you did get absolutely soaked if it poured(and we did!) it was really difficult coping with wet clothes in your room.
