Hôtel Déclic is a photography-themed hotel. It opened in January, 2016, and is in a quiet area of Paris, behind the butte of Montmartre.
The Sacré-Coeur is a 15-minute walk away and the Musée de Montmartre, which exhibits work by artists including Toulouse-Lautrec and Modigliani, is 10 minutes' walk from the hotel. The museum was founded in the 1960s and has a pretty garden that is dedicated to Renoir. Le Grand Train, a pop-up food market and exhibition area in a disused train depot, is 15 minutes' walk away. It is open from Wednesday-Sunday until 16 October. Lamarck - Caulaincourt Metro station (on line 12) is a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel serves a buffet breakfast, and guests can order room service from the nearby Bistro Etoile de Montmartre. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available in the lobby from 2-5:30pm (extra charge).
Rooms are small, but "well thought out", says The Daily Telegraph. They are decorated in three different styles: Réflex (blue and grey), Noir & Blanc (monochrome) and Chasseurs d’Étoiles (sparkly fibre optic lights). Wi-Fi is free.
