SACO Birmingham - Brindleyplace is ideal for a city break and is within walking distance of many of the city's top attractions. The National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham, an aquarium with over 60 displays of freshwater and marine life, is a 3-minute walk from the hotel and is praised by TimeOut for its "family-friendly centre featuring a host of underwater delights".
Jump in a taxi and in five minutes you've arrived at the O2 Academy Birmingham, renowned for gigs, club nights and a stage for emerging artists. You can visit the Bullring Shopping Centre in the heart of the city, one of the largest shopping centres in the UK and only a 13-minute taxi ride from the hotel. There are over 160 high-street and boutique shops including Selfridges and a variety of restaurants and cafés. The Jewellery Quarter, which dates back more than 250 years and is home to over 500 jewellery businesses, contains Birmingham's last Georgian Square and is complete with restaurants, bars and galleries.
Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is a 14-minute walk from the hotel and houses a collection of fine art, ceramics, metalwork, jewellery, natural history, archaeology, ethnography and local and industrial history. The hotel is less than a 5-minute walk from Birmingham Canal Old Line, where you can walk the original course of the canal, which existed before Thomas Telford's new main line was built in the 1830s.
The aparthotel consists of fully equipped studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments.They are contemporary in design, with wooden floors and have either a balcony or terrace with views of Birmingham's skyline.
