The Seaview Hotel, located one minute's walk from the Isle of Wight's northeast coast, is a "friendly place" in a "lovely" town (Condé Nast Traveller).
The ever-popular Isle of Wight is filled with activity options. The picturesque village of Seaview is dotted with Victorian buildings, restaurants, and seasonal shops. Appley Beach is 15 minutes' drive away from the hotel, while the Alan Hersey Nature Reserve is 10 minutes' walk. 20 minutes away by foot, Puckpool Park, an old Victorian Fortification Battery, has tennis courts and mini golf, in addition to its scenic views.
In the neighbouring town of Ryde, winery tours are available at Rosemary Vineyard, and Haven Falconry Bird of Prey Centre has 21 species from around the world and daily talks and handling sessions. Both are 15 minutes away by car.
The hotel's restaurant, headed by Bruce Theobald, uses fresh ingredients from its Newclose Farm, local sellers and British producers. This Michelin Bib Gourmand-winning eatery also offers a menu with an emphasis on locally caught fish. In addition to the restaurant, guests can also opt to eat and drink at the hotel's Naval Mess or the Pump Bar.
Guests will stay in the hotel's Standard Double Rooms. Children can stay in selected Standard Rooms for an extra £20 per child. Dogs can stay in selected rooms from £10 per dog, per night.
