The Quay Hotel & Spa
About the Hotel
Why We Love This Hotel
- This contemporary 4-star spa hotel has a "stunning position"
(The AA Hotel Guide 2017) on the banks of the Conwy Estuary
- You can see Conwy Castle from the AA-Rosette-awarded restaurant
- The popular seaside town of Llandudno is a 10-minute drive away
Perched on the Deganwy Quay, near Llandudno, this spa hotel is "well-placed for a little bit of luxury," says The Daily Telegraph.
The Victorian seaside town of Llandudno and the historic town of Conwy, home to the smallest house in Britain, are both less than 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. You can watch a show or a West End musical at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, and the Little Orme headland is great for hiking. You can catch the cable-driven tramway to the top of the Great Orme --- the larger headland at the other end of the bay -- for panoramic views of the coastline. Snowdonia National Park is less than 15 minutes' drive away.
The hotel's Marina Restaurant has views of the Conwy Mountains, the estuary and Conwy Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This AA-Rosette-awarded restaurant uses local produce such as Anglesey scallops, fresh salmon from Llandudno and locally farmed beef and lamb. There's also a selection of bottled Welsh ales from the Great Orme Brewery.
Classic Rooms have courtyard or marina views. Superior Rooms offer views across the marina, or are courtyard-facing with partial views of the river. Most have private balconies.
Leisure facilities include a spa, an indoor heated pool, a sauna, a steam room and a gym. Wi-Fi is free.
We've also negotiated a spa day including massage, facial and lunch for £55 or £97 for two.
