The A good base to visit Bath with a bus stop just across the road with buses running every 15 minutes and a short journey of under 10 minutes. Also a nearby walk takes you to the canal and a interesting walk into central Bath with the choice of a boat trip back or the frequent buses

Great location for Bath with easy access to bus stops outside.

The room was nice and when there was a flood from the bathroom which soaked the bedroom floor too, the receptionist was very good. I did ask for another room but apparently it was fully booked. The room had been cleaned by the time we cam back that evening but it really put me off using the bathroom facilities the next morning! It was an enjoyable stay in Bath and as always Travelzoo were excellent when I wasn't able to book through the website.

Perfect position for the centre of Bath, great breakfast and nice friendly staff. The price was also very good on this deal.

My only comment for improvement would be that they replace the Slipper Bath which we had in our bathroom for a shower or at least a shower over a bath. All you want to do is have a quick shower in the morning/evening and not to have to run a bath which considering it’s size would take ages, also not to be able to wash your hair properly as the hose that’s provided is not practical as it splashes all over the floor is not a good thing, also we are as a nation meant to be conserving water these days not filling a large bath (which would also cost the hotel more money for their water consumption). I’m sure other guests would agree that all you need is a shower not a fancy bath.

Staff were really good, told us about the toll bridge a short(ish) walk from the Lodge and the pub the other side that did good lunches - which it did! Breakfast was good at Bailbrook Lodge and the large garden is very nice to sit in if the weather is good.
