Set in a forested area, within its own 6-hectare natural park, Le Clos des Délices offers a relaxing base from which to explore the beautiful natural surroundings and nearby places of interest. It's just outside of the historic village of Ottrott and five kilometres from picturesque Obernai, which is on the Alsace wine route. The hotel is also well placed for exploring the hiking trails of Mont Sainte-Odile, a peak of the Vosges Mountains that is famous for its monastery and a 10-kilometre ancient dry-stone wall that's known as "the Pagan Wall".
Strasbourg's historical and architectural highlights, such as the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Grande Île and pretty Petite France, with its bars, restaurants and half-timbered medieval buildings, are around 38 kilometres from the hotel.
After taking in the sights or hiking in the mountains, relax and unwind at the hotel spa, which offers a range of treatments including soothing honey massages. There's also a sauna and an indoor pool with doors that open out onto a lawn where guests can soak up the sun during the summer.
The elegant fine-dining restaurant has garden views and serves a traditional menu of dishes made from fresh local ingredients.
