Crosti Hotel is a family-owned property with friendly staff and a convenient city-centre location, 15 minutes' walk from the Piazza della Repubblica and the Via Veneto. Attractions like the Colosseum, the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain can be reached within half an hour on foot.
The nearest metro station (Castro Pretorio) is four blocks away and the hotel is a 15-minute walk from Termini train station, which has services to the airport and access to both metro lines (A and B). It takes 15 minutes by metro to reach the Spanish Steps, and 25 minutes to get to Ottaviano metro station, near the Vatican museums.
Breakfast is a continental buffet, and staff can pack a take-away meal for early departures. There's no restaurant on site, but the hotel's owners also run the Hostaria Da Vincenzo, just around the corner, and hotel guests get a 10% discount. It has been in the family for over 40 years and specialises in fish dishes and fresh pasta, which is homemade every day.
The spacious bedrooms have free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and are very quiet thanks to double-glazed windows and shutters. They feature cherry-wood furniture and tiled floors, and overlook the street or the quiet courtyard.
