Hotel Don Giovanni Prague is a modern property in the residential area of Vinohrady, just outside the city centre.
The hotel is next to the Zelivského Metro station -- from here, you can reach the winding lanes of Prague's Old Town in around 10 minutes. The Old Town Square is described by Frommer's as "the most celebrated square in the city" due to its Baroque architecture, cafés and craft stalls. Its medieval astronomical clock is the oldest still operating anywhere in the world.
Prague Castle, one of the city's most popular attractions, is 20 minutes away by Metro. According to Lonely Planet, the castle's "serried ranks of spires, towers and palaces dominate the city centre like a fairy-tale fortress".
Park Parukárka and the Zizkov district are both 20 minutes' walk from the hotel. The park -- which has its own beer garden -- is popular for its views of the castle and the Lesser Town (Malá Strana). The arty and bohemian Zizkov district is home to a collection of quirky underground pubs -- we'd recommend a trip to U Slovanské Lípy, which is one of Prague's oldest watering holes.
All bedrooms have a mini bar, satellite TV, air conditioning and a safe. The hotel also has a sauna (fees apply), a snack bar, a deli, a lounge, a bar, a gym and a gift shop. Wi-Fi is free throughout and there's a concierge service.
