In a neighborhood best-known for its celebrity residents and exclusive nightlife hot spots, the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca offers a rare budget-friendly accommodation option in Lower Manhattan. From the hotel, guests can walk to Little Italy and SoHo in 10 minutes or take a five-minute taxi ride to the 9/11 Memorial.
While guest rooms lack the artistic flair of the area’s boutique properties, they offer comfortable furnishings, free Wi-Fi and work stations. All rooms are equipped with flat-screen televisions, mini fridges, microwaves and include complimentary coffee and tea. Visitors can upgrade to higher floors for a view of downtown and the Hudson River, or book the penthouse suite which includes a spacious living room, whirlpool tub and king-size bed.
While there is a small gym within the hotel, when weather permits guests should take advantage of the nearby Hudson River Park for walking and running. Classic American breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered in the hotel’s AOA Bar & Grill while a 24-hour convenience mart is available to satisfy late night cravings.
