Housed in a former carriage and dry-goods warehouse, the building has been reborn as a modern, sophisticated boutique hotel with 18 loft rooms. Loft 523 is a chic, trendy option in the historically tame neighborhood of the Central Business District (CBD).
Hammered copper doors give way to 12-foot ceilings, polished concrete floors and minimalist décor. With an average size of 600 square feet, guest rooms are spacious and are bathed in natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. Bathrooms exemplify modern luxury with limestone walls, stone vanities, dual showerheads and plush linens.
Partiers will enjoy the hip nightclub attached to the hotel. Light sleepers may want to request a room away from the club, as noise levels have been known to get loud during club hours.
