For a taste of the Big Apple in Las Vegas, guests can book the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, located on the southern end of the Strip between The Monte Carlo and Excalibur. Lady Liberty stands tall above the boulevard and the resort’s exterior takes after the Manhattan skyline and guests can sightsee from the rollercoaster speeding around the property at over 60 miles per hour.

Rooms are outfitted with free Wi-Fi, granite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and the choice of one king or two queen mattresses. Suites include additional luxuries like spa tubs, seating areas, private bedrooms and wet bars.

Just like in the City That Never Sleeps, global cuisine options are available throughout the property at almost any time day or night. Guests can grab a slice of authentic New York-style pizza or street vendor hot dogs while those looking for an upscale dining experience can choose between fine Italian dining or pan-Asian specialties straight out of Chinatown.

Gamblers can try their luck in the Central Park-themed casino and Coyote Ugly welcomes adults for late-night entertainment. The resort is home to Cirque du Soleil’s risque Zumanity show and kids of all ages can play the day away in The Big Apple Arcade or treat themselves to something sweet at the two-story Hershey’s Chocolate World.

The casino is pretty not too crowded and the smoke is handled pretty well.

The hotel should be rated 3-star, not 4. It's very old and the walls are paper thin. All the people in my group heard people yelling in the rooms next to us. The hallway and room decor is also very dated and ugly.

I selected this hotel because the published rate was about $50.00 per night among a list of other hotels in Las Vegas. However, the rate did not disclose a $45.00 per night room fee that essentially made the rate about $100.00 per night. After I booked, I found the fee disclosed on the confirmation but the published per-night charge is deceptive. The property is really nice and the rate, even with the additional fee, was a good value but I hate to be deceived.

I enjoyed that there were places that the kids could sit and not be gambling they were also a lot of inexpensive food choices compared to most hotels in Las Vegas

We like Hershey World. The slots were fair to us. Pour 24 bar was good. And our service and meal was good that we had in the America restaurant.

WiFi was not able to be connected to. No fridge, microwave or coffee maker in our room - most of these amenities are standard in motels now. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Sliding door was heavy and not easy to open/close. Not sure about cleanliness of the room.....when we found an old sock by the bed. No sure if room was vacuumed. I understand that we had discounted rooms but....not happy with accommodations.
