About the tour: The 9-day tour begins with an overnight stay in Yangon before flying to Bagan where you’ll visit the Bagan Archaeological Zone, home to over 2000 temples, it is described by the Telegraph as "one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites". From here you’ll drive to Mandalay -- the country’s second largest city and home to the impressive Mandalay Palace that you’ll visit along with a number of monasteries and temples as well as the U Bein Teak Bridge in Amarapura.
Following a short flight you’ll visit the “absolutely enthralling” (Fodor’s) region of Lake Inle for a two night stay. During you time here you’ll enjoy a boat trip described by Travel + Leisure as one of the "Things Not to Miss in Myanmar" -- the trip visits a number of pagodas, monasteries, floating villages and local markets.
