$729 – Week of Skiing in the Canadian Rockies, 40% Off
This-little known destination is among The Telegraph's "Best Canadian ski resorts" for 2017.
Never heard of Panorama, British Columbia? That's precisely part of its appeal. Less crowded than more famous Rockies resorts like Banff, it has the type of beauty that led a journalist from Forbes to write "I’ve never seen more stunning alpine vistas from the top of any mountain, anywhere."
- $729 per person for a weeklong skiing holiday, saving 40% compared with packaging it yourself
- Includes seven nights twin-share accommodation and one six-day Panorama Lift Pass per person
- Flights, transfers and rental equipment aren't included but can be arranged upon request
- Travel dates: Jan. 7 - Feb. 15, 2018
About the hotel: Guests stay in Studio Rooms at Panorama Springs Lodge, which have full kitchens and gas fireplaces. They're next to the lifts, so you won't need to lug your skis around, and there's free access to the largest slopeside hot pools in Canada.
About the resort: Panorama has 10 ski lifts and 125 trails, which provide "excellent terrain for beginners, experts and adventurous intermediates" (The Telegraph). The village is built on two levels, with a free lift to connect them. Driving from Vancouver makes for a fun roadtrip, but if time is of the essence, it's best to fly into Calgary.
