About the itinerary:

Day 1: Your holiday begins in Helsinki, Finland. The first day is yours to explore as you please, and in the evening, you’ll meet your fellow travellers. 

Day 2: After an early breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the port to meet your ferry to Estonia. There, you’ll enjoy a tour of the city’s magical Old Town. Later in the day, you’ll return to Helsinki by ferry.

Day 3: Discover the Temppeliaukio Church today, one of Helsinki’s star attractions.  In the afternoon, you’ll climb aboard the Santa Claus Express, an iconic sleeper train that will take you to Kemi in the heart of Lapland.

Day 4: You’ll arrive early, then head to the SnowCastle Resort to enjoy breakfast. In the afternoon, you’ll travel to the Ajos Pier to board the Icebreaker for an incredible adventure ploughing through thick ice. Guests also have the opportunity to swim with the ice in a full waterproof survival suite. From here, you’ll head north to Rovaniemi, the official home of Santa Claus.

Day 5: Cross the Arctic Circle today to meet Santa Claus and his reindeer at the official Santa Claus village.

Day 6:  You’ll travel further north this morning with a quick stop in Sodankyla. Later in the day, you’ll visit a husky farm to join an unforgettable Husky Safari. In the afternoon, you’ll leave Rovaniemi and continue to Saariselkä to bed down in a cozy glass-roof Aurora cabin to search for the breathtaking Northern Lights. 

Day 7: Your journey continues north this morning. You’ll visit the SIIDA Museum before crossing the border into Norway. You’ll spend the evening in Karasjok.

Day 8: Leaving Karasjok, you’ll continue to Norway’s northern Tip—the vast North Cape/Nordkapp. Here, you’ll receive a certificate to mark your visit. While there, you’ll also enjoy sparkling wine and caviar. 

Day 9: Say farewell to the North Cape region this morning as you travel south along the coast of Norway to Alta, where you’ll discover the Alta Museum and World Heritage Rock Art Centre. Later in the evening, you’ll go searching for the Northern Lights.

Day 10: After breakfast, you’ll continue south to Tromsø via the breathtaking Lyngen Alps. Tromsø is the largest city in Northern Norway, known for its lively nightlife and wide range of restaurants specialising in fresh Arctic ingredients. 

Day 11: Today is yours to explore as you please. Alternatively, you could join an optional tour (additional cost) that includes a reindeer sledding experience with a traditional meal and Sami culture presentation or a visit to a reindeer camp for dinner and a chance to see the Northern Lights in the wilderness.

Day 12: You’ll make your way to Narvik today, on the doorstep of the Loften Islands. Here, you’ll learn about the city’s fascinating history. 

Day 13: This morning, you’ll travel to the town of Svolvær in the Lofoten archipelago. High mountains and iconic red wooden houses surround Svolvær.

Day 14: Today, explore the stunning Lofoten Islands, including a stop in the small village of Henningsvær, one of the region’s best-known fishing villages.

Day 15: After checking out of your hotel this morning, you’ll travel to Evenes to board a flight to Oslo.  The rest of the day is yours to explore Oslo as you please. You could explore Viking history at the Viking Ship Museum, walk through the Akershus Fortress or enjoy winter sports at the iconic Holmenkollen Ski Jump.

Day 16: Today, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of Oslo, where you will visit the Parliament Building, the National Theatre, the Royal Palace, and the Akershus Castle and Fortress.

Day 17: Your tour ends today. Make your way to the airport to catch your flight.
