The trip starts in the ancient city of Athens, visits the Island of Santorini famous for blue and whitewashed shores and idyllic beaches, and travels mainland Greece, stopping off in Meteora and Kalambaka. You'll then journey onward to Tirana, the colorful capital of Albania famous for its Ottoman and Soviet-era architecture. Travel upwards along the Dalmatian Coast visiting the ancient fortress cities of Budva, Kotor, Dubrovnik and Split in Croatia and visit ancient cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia and Macedonia before travelling downwards through the diverse Greek countryside visiting the ancient ruins of Thessaloniki and Delphi.
