About the cruise: You will depart from Murray Bridge at 7pm on Friday evening - keep an eye out for kangaroos, wombats, tortoises and other wildlife lit up by the floodlights as you sail. On Saturday you will visit the historic town of Mannum, home to the Dock Museum, and the impressive Teal Flat, an area of natural beauty set alongside towering cliffs and beautiful sandy beaches - whilst here you can enjoy a guided nature tour, hosted by the on-board ecologist. On Sunday you will return to Mannum for a visit to the Reedy Creek Environmental Park, where Aboriginal tribes gathered historically for water. You will disembark around 4pm on Sunday at the Murray Bridge.
The recently-refurbished Proud Mary is an intimate ship that navigates through the inlets of the Murray River ecosystem. Facilities on board include an on-board bar and a restaurant where your meals are served. Each of the cabins on board has river views, a double bed and air conditioning.
