You'll spend a night in the luxurious Intercontinental Tahiti Resort & Spa before taking the ferry to Moorea, praised by Lonely Planet as a "gem of an island" due to its warm turquoise lagoons, white-sand beaches, high mountain ranges, and verdant landscapes. Here you'll spend five nights at the Intercontinental Resort & Spa Moorea - a tropical sanctuary sheltered by lush mountains and facing turquoise lagoons teeming with marine life - before heading back to Tahiti for an overnight stay before flying back to Australia.
Both hotels are excellent and facilities include a number of pools and poolside bars, a spa and wellness centre, casual and fine-dining restaurants and the Intercontinental Resort & Spa Moorea also has the onsite Sea Turtle Care Center for local turtle conservation. For the active traveller, both resorts have a fitness room and offer free water sports equipment including kayaks and snorkelling.
