About the itinerary:

Your holiday begins in Negombo. Upon arrival, you'll be met at the airport and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you please. On day two, after breakfast, you'll head to the Dambulla Golden Cave Temple, a world heritage site dating back to the 1st century BC. You'll spend the evening in Sigiriya. The following day, you will discover one of the most extraordinary artistic complexes of its time—the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This UNESCO heritage site, built in the 5th century AD, is one of Sri Lanka's unmissable sites.

On day four, you'll start your journey to Kandy. On the way, you'll visit a Spice Garden in Matale. On arrival in Kandy, you'll enjoy a walking tour to discover the city before heading to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, brought to Sri Lanka in the 4th century AD. After breakfast on day five, you'll leave for Nuwara Eliya. On the way, you will visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, which hosts up to 4000 different plant species. This afternoon, you'll see a tea plantation before settling into your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

On day six, you'll embark on one of South Asia's most renowned train journeys to Ella. As you traverse picturesque tea country, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of valleys draped in mist, stunning waterfalls, and lush forests teeming with wildlife. You'll spend the evening in Tissamaharama. The following day is yours to explore or you can opt for a thrilling tour to Yala National Park. In the afternoon, you'll head to Galle for a city tour, where you'll discover this coastal city's rich history and charm.

On day eight, you'll meet your flight to Male in the Maldives. You'll spend the next three days discovering this breathtaking archipelago. Expect to see tall coconut palms, white sandy beaches and their famed crystal clear lagoons. On day 11, you'll meet your flight home to Australia, marking the end of your tour.
